Public Transport
From Tbilisi, take the subway to Station Square 2, then transfer to a marshrutka (shared minivan) heading to Manglisi. Marshrutkas depart from the bus stop near Tbilisi's railway station, with the last departure typically around 4 PM (5-6 PM in summer). The ride to Manglisi takes approximately 1.5 hours and costs around 6 GEL. From Manglisi, a 20-minute walk will bring you to the park's entrance. Be prepared for a small fee of 1-2 GEL for the marshrutka.
Taxi
A taxi directly from Tbilisi to Algeti National Park takes approximately 1 hour and 11 minutes and costs around $16-19. Alternatively, take the subway from Station Square 2 to State University and then take a taxi to Algeti National Park, which should take about 1 hour and 19 minutes and cost $15-18. Negotiate the fare before starting your journey.
