Zedazeni Monastery: A Spiritual Retreat with Panoramic Views

Zedazeni Monastery, perched on the slopes of the Saguramo Range, stands as a testament to Georgia's enduring Christian legacy. The monastery complex comprises several structures, including the 8th-century St. John the Baptist Basilica, a triple-nave church that serves as the main spiritual center. Other notable features include a defensive wall, monastic cells, and a bell tower, reflecting the monastery's historical role as a place of both worship and refuge.
