The church's architecture is a prime example of the era, showcasing a cross-domed design constructed from meticulously hewn yellow limestone. The complex includes the church, a defensive wall, a bell tower, and remnants of monastic buildings. The facades are adorned with elaborate ornaments dating back to the first half of the 13th century.
