From Avlabari Metro Station, take the metro towards 'Varketili' for two stops to 'Rustaveli' station. Exit and walk towards Freedom Square, following signs for the Mother of Georgia Tramway. Continue to Rike Park to board the Tram. A metro card (Metromoney card) is required for payment, costing 2 GEL. The fare for the tramway is 2.5 GEL each way.

From Freedom Square, walk towards the Kura River and cross the Bridge of Peace. This brings you to Rike Park, where the lower tram station is located. Purchase a Metromoney card if you don't already have one (2 GEL) and load it with at least 2.5 GEL for a one-way trip.
