From the center of Mtskheta, start at the main square near the Jvari Monastery. Head southeast on Aghmashenebeli Street towards the Mtkvari River. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Tsminda Sameba Street. Turn right onto Tsminda Sameba Street and follow it until you reach the bus station. From the bus station, catch a marshrutka (minibus) heading to Tbilisi. After about 30 minutes, you will arrive at the Rustaveli Avenue stop in Tbilisi. Once you disembark, walk north on Rustaveli Avenue for about 5 minutes. The Rustaveli National Theatre will be on your left at 17 Shota Rustaveli Ave.

Begin your journey from Mtskheta's main square. Look for a marshrutka that says 'Tbilisi' on it; these are usually parked near the main bus station. Board the marshrutka and pay the fare, which is typically around 1 Lari. The ride to Tbilisi takes approximately 30 minutes. Upon arrival at Rustaveli Avenue, get off at the stop closest to the Rustaveli National Theatre. After exiting, walk north along Rustaveli Avenue for about 5 minutes. The theatre will be on your left side at 17 Shota Rustaveli Ave. Be sure to check the marshrutka schedule for return trips to Mtskheta.
