From the center of Mtskheta, begin near Svetitskhoveli Cathedral at the main square. Head northeast on Shota Rustaveli Street, continuing for approximately 500 meters until you reach the intersection with the Tbilisi-Mtskheta highway. Cross the road and proceed straight, following signs directing you to Samtavro Convent. After about 300 meters, you will arrive at the convent entrance. There are no costs associated with this final approach.

From Tbilisi, take a marshrutka (minibus) from Didube Metro Station to Mtskheta. These depart every 30 minutes and cost approximately 2 GEL. Upon arrival in Mtskheta, disembark near the main square and follow the walking directions to Samtavro Convent. The walk is about 10 minutes. Total cost: 2 GEL.

From anywhere in Mtskheta, a taxi to Samtavro Convent is a readily available option. Taxis can be found near the main square or arranged via Bolt or Maxim. The ride is short and should cost approximately 5-7 GEL. Confirm the fare with the driver before starting the journey.
