From the center of Mtskheta, start at the Jvari Monastery bus stop. Head south on the main street (Mtskheta's main square) towards the river. Cross the bridge over the Kura River. Once you reach the other side, continue straight until you arrive at the intersection with the street leading to the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral. Keep walking straight and take the first right onto a smaller path that leads towards the riverbank. Follow this path along the river until you see a sign for 'კუნძული მცხეთა'. The walk should take approximately 20-30 minutes.
