If you are driving from Akhaltsikhe, take the E60 highway heading west. After approximately 20 kilometers, take the exit towards Abuli village. Follow the signs towards the village, which is about 15 kilometers away. The road will lead you through beautiful landscapes. Once you reach Abuli village, continue on the local road that leads to the fortress. The fortress is located on a hill, and parking is available at the base. Note that the road can be narrow and winding, so drive cautiously.

From Akhaltsikhe, you can take a marshrutka (minibus) heading towards the villages in the vicinity of Abuli. Ask the driver to drop you off at Abuli village. Once you arrive at Abuli village, you will need to walk approximately 3 kilometers uphill to reach Abuli Fortress. The path is well-trodden, but be prepared for a steep incline. It is advisable to wear comfortable walking shoes.
