Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Borjomi. Head southwest on Giorgi Saakadze St toward the R9 road. Continue on the R9 road for about 15 kilometers. Look for signs pointing to Gogia Fortress, which is located just off the main road. The fortress is situated at the coordinates 41.841404 latitude and 43.376416 longitude. There is a small parking area near the entrance.
Public Transportation
To reach Gogia Fortress via public transportation, take a marshrutka (minibus) from Borjomi. Marshrutkas regularly depart from the central bus station. Look for one headed towards Akhaltsikhe or Tskaltubo and inform the driver that you want to stop at Gogia Fortress. The fare is approximately 2-3 GEL. The bus ride will take around 30-40 minutes. Once you reach the designated stop, you may need to walk a short distance to the fortress.
