There is no entry fee for the castle, but make sure to have your vehicle fuelled as there are limited services in the area.

Marshrutkas leave from the main bus station in Akhaltsikhe and the journey takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Chkopiani, you may need to walk or take a taxi to reach the castle, which is about 3 kilometers from the marshrutka drop-off point. Taxis are available in the village, and the fare should not exceed 5 GEL.
