If you are driving from the town of Akhaltsikhe, head south on the E60 highway for approximately 30 km. After passing through the village of Khashuri, take the exit for the M3 highway towards Aspindza. Follow the M3 for about 15 km until you reach the sign for Kumurdo. Turn left onto the local road and continue for another 5 km until you reach Kumurdo Cathedral. Parking is available near the cathedral.

From Akhaltsikhe, you can take a minibus (marshrutka) heading towards Aspindza. The ride will take approximately 45 minutes. Ask the driver to drop you off at the Kumurdo stop, which is near the turn for Kumurdo Cathedral. From the stop, it is a 1 km walk to the cathedral; follow the signs pointing towards the cathedral. Make sure to check the marshrutka schedule in advance, as they may not run frequently.
