If you are traveling by car, start from the town of Akhaltsikhe, the regional capital of Samtskhe-Javakheti. Head south on the E60 highway towards the village of Gomaro. After approximately 20 kilometers, take the exit for Gomaro. Follow the signs towards Gomaro village, and once you reach the village, continue straight until you see a sign for Okros Tsikhe Fortress. The fortress is located just outside the village. There is no entry fee to access the fortress.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a minibus (marshrutka) from Akhaltsikhe to the village of Gomaro. Minibuses depart frequently from the central bus station in Akhaltsikhe. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Gomaro, you can either walk to the fortress, which is about a 15-minute walk, or hire a local taxi for a small fee, usually around 5-10 GEL. Follow the signs towards the fortress, and you will reach it shortly.
