Getting There

  • Car

    Start by heading northeast on Main Street from Stone Mountain. Merge onto US-78 E and continue for about 25 miles. Take the exit for I-285 N toward Greenville. After about 10 miles, take exit 31B to merge onto I-85 N. Continue for about 120 miles, then take exit 84B toward US-441 N/US-29 N. After 5 miles, take exit 1A to merge onto GA-400 N. Continue on GA-400 N for about 80 miles, then take exit 3B toward I-85 N/Tbilisi. Continue for another 5 miles, then follow signs for Narikala. Parking may be limited in the area, so consider street parking or nearby lots.

    From Stone Mountain, take the MARTA bus route 119 to the Kensington MARTA station. From there, board the train on the Blue Line towards Ashby and transfer at Five Points Station to the Red Line towards North Springs. Get off at the Midtown Station. From Midtown, take the MARTA bus route 36 towards Tbilisi. The bus will take you close to Narikala. Be sure to check the local bus schedules as they may vary.
