    From Adishi village, follow the marked trail heading east along the Adishischala River towards the glacier. The hike is approximately 8 kilometers (5 miles) from the village to a viewpoint of the glacier. Be prepared to cross the Adishischala River; during the hiking season, locals often provide horse-crossing services for around 25 GEL per person. Check the water level before attempting to cross on foot.

  • Taxi

    From Mestia, hire a 4x4 taxi to Adishi village, the starting point for the glacier hike. The cost is approximately 150-200 GEL for the round trip. Note that the road to Adishi is unpaved and requires a high-clearance vehicle. From Adishi village, follow the walking directions to the glacier.
