From the center of Ushguli (e.g., near the Ushguli Ethnographic Museum), the Lamaria Church is a relatively short walk. Head north, following the road that leads towards Mount Shkhara. The church is visible on a hill overlooking the village of Zhibiani. The walk takes approximately 15-20 minutes, though the path can be steep in places.

Taxis or Delica vans can be hired in Ushguli to reach Lamaria Church. Negotiate the fare before starting the journey. A short ride from the village center to the base of the hill will cost approximately 20-30 GEL. From there, it's a short walk up to the church.
