Car
If driving from Ambrolauri, head south on the E117 highway towards the village of Shaori. Follow the signs to Shaori Reservoir, approximately 20 kilometers from Ambrolauri. The drive takes about 30 minutes, and parking is available near the reservoir. There are no tolls on this route.
Public Transport
To reach Shaori Reservoir by public transport, take a marshrutka (shared taxi) from Ambrolauri to the village of Shaori. Marshrutkas depart regularly from the central bus station in Ambrolauri. The fare is approximately 2-3 GEL. From Shaori village, walk to the reservoir (approximately 15-20 minutes) or take a local taxi if available. Check the marshrutka schedule for the return trip.
