Shdugra Waterfall, also known as Ushba Waterfall, is considered the most voluminous waterfall in Georgia, cascading down 135 meters near Mazeri village in the Svaneti region. A moderately challenging 3-kilometer hike through stunning landscapes leads to the base of this natural wonder, offering breathtaking views of the Ushba Glacier and surrounding mountains.

Walking
From Mazeri village, follow the well-marked trail leading to Shdugra Waterfall. The hike is approximately 3 kilometers to the base of the waterfall and takes around 1.5 to 2 hours. The path crosses fields and passes through pine forests, eventually requiring a river crossing. The trail is moderately difficult. There is no entrance fee to access the waterfall.
Public Transport
From Mestia, take a marshrutka (minibus) to Mazeri. Marshrutkas depart from the central bus station in Mestia, with a fare of approximately 3-5 GEL. Upon arrival in Mazeri, ask locals for directions to the Shdugra Waterfall trailhead. From the drop-off point, it's about a 1.5 to 2-hour hike to the waterfall.
