Getting There

    From Mestia, taxis offer a direct route to Tetnuldi Ski Resort. Negotiate the fare before starting your journey; expect to pay around 50-70 GEL. The ride takes approximately 30 minutes.

    Take a minibus (marshrutka) from Mestia heading towards Tsaldashi. Get off in the village center, and then take a local taxi to Tetnuldi Ski Resort, which is about 5 kilometers away. The taxi ride should cost around 10-15 GEL. Minibus fares from Mestia to Tsaldashi are typically a few GEL.

    Driving from Mestia, take the E117 highway south towards Tsaldashi. Continue for approximately 24 kilometers (about 30 minutes). Tetnuldi Ski Resort, one of the newest in Europe, is located on the slopes of the mountain. The resort features slopes at altitudes ranging from 2,265m to 3,165m. With a variety of slopes catering to different skill levels, Tetnuldi is an ideal destination for families and groups with varied skiing abilities. The total length of the ski runs is around 30 kilometers (18.6 miles), with tracks ranging from easy to difficult. The skiing season at Tetnuldi typically runs from December to April, with the best conditions usually found from January to March. For experienced mountaineers, climbing Mt. Tetnuldi is a challenge that requires appropriate physical preparation and specialized equipment. The classic route of Tetnuldi is 5 days long and requires good physical and moral preparation. The recommended period for climbing Mount Tetnuldi is between the middle of July and the end of September.
