Car
If you are driving from Mestia, head southeast on the main road (E117) towards Zugdidi. The drive will take approximately 2.5 hours. As you approach the town of Martvili, keep an eye out for signs indicating 'Martvili Canyon'. Follow the signs to 'Martvili-Taleri-Chkhorotsku'. The canyon entrance is located just off the main road. There is a parking area available for visitors.

Public Transportation
From Mestia, take a marshrutka (shared minibus) to Zugdidi. The journey takes about 2 hours. Once in Zugdidi, transfer to another marshrutka heading to Martvili. This leg of the trip will take about 30 minutes. Inform the driver that you wish to visit Martvili Canyon, and they will drop you off at the nearest stop. From there, it's a short walk to the canyon entrance.
