The best tour of my life. I learned all about Georgia's history and traditions here. The guide not only told us about it, but also gave us the chance to experience the history and culture of this ancient country. The transportation and organization were excellent.5 star's and Highly recommendation's from my family!!!

Prometheus Cave & Martvili Canyon Tour from Kutaisi

We didn’t join the tour...

We didn’t join the tour from the beginning, as we didn’t wake up in time, but the tour operator was kind enough to allow us to join the next day to access the full experience. We couldn’t make it the next day, as we had another tour booked so we decided to take a bolt to Prometheus cave and meet the tour there. I was in touch with the guide the while time, he was very kind to inform us on where/ how we needed to proceed to be able to still access what was left of the tour. Prometheus cave is a must I think, if you are close to Kutaisi. We ended up asking the guide to leave us near the Medea Center (halfway from Prometheus to Kutaisi), just to explore a little bit better the surroundings.

Worth exploring nature’s gift to humans.

Tour was physically tiring but possible to experience. English guide who was provided by the Prometheus cave authorities for our group conducted her tour in a way where all members were not together. Aged members like us were left behind and had to explore the caves on our own. We didn’t get to enjoy lights and music in the caves. Tour driver was not English speaking and couldn’t communicate with us.
