From the center of Mtskheta, near Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, head north towards the Aragvi River. Cross the bridge over the river, then turn left and walk along the riverbank. Samtavro Convent will be visible on your right, a short distance from the bridge. The walk is generally easy and takes about 10-15 minutes.

If arriving in Mtskheta by marshrutka (minibus) from Tbilisi, disembark near the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral. From there, follow the walking directions to reach Samtavro Convent.
