Experience Liberty square

Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Vera, head southwest on Gudiashvili Street towards Kote Marjanishvili Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rustaveli Avenue. Turn left onto Rustaveli Avenue and walk straight for about 500 meters. You will pass several shops and cafes. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Freedom Square. Liberty Square will be on your right. It is a large open space with a statue in the center, making it hard to miss.

  • Public Transport (Bus)

    If you prefer to take public transport, find the nearest bus stop on Tsinandali Street. Take bus number 37 or 49 towards the city center. Stay on the bus until you reach the stop 'Freedom Square'. The journey takes approximately 10-15 minutes. Once you get off the bus, Liberty Square will be right in front of you, just a short walk away.

  • Public Transport (Metro)

    You can also take the metro from the nearby Marjanishvili station. Board the metro train at Marjanishvili station (on the Akhmeteli-Varketili line) in the direction of the Varketili station. After one stop, get off at the Rustaveli station. From there, exit the station and walk down Rustaveli Avenue towards Freedom Square, which is only about a 5-10 minute walk. Liberty Square will be straight ahead.
