    From Tbilisi, head northeast towards the Kakheti region. The most direct route is via the Gombori Pass. The road starts near the Vaziani settlement and ends in Telavi, approximately 65 kilometers in total. Be prepared for winding roads and changes in elevation. There are no tolls on this route. Parking is available at various viewpoints along the pass and in Gombori village. Parking is generally free.
