    If you are traveling by car, start from the main town in Tusheti, Omalo. Drive towards the main road leading out of Omalo and head towards the village of Dartlo. Follow the road through the scenic landscapes until you reach the junction at the bottom of the hill. Make a left at the junction to head towards Akhmeta Municipality. Continue driving for approximately 2 hours until you see signs for Alaverdi Monastery. The monastery is located on the right side of the road, just after you enter the village of Alaverdi. Parking is available near the entrance.

    For those using public transportation, take a marshrutka (minibus) from Omalo to Akhmeta. Marshrutkas generally leave when full, so it may take some time. The journey to Akhmeta takes about 2-3 hours. Expect to pay around 10 GEL for the taxi ride.
