To reach Algeti's National Park from Tusheti by car, first, make your way to the village of Omalo, the main settlement in Tusheti. From Omalo, take the unpaved road that leads to the village of Dartlo. Follow the signs towards the village of Akhmeta, passing through the scenic landscapes of Tusheti. Once you reach Akhmeta, continue on the road towards Telavi. Keep following the signs for Tbilisi and drive towards the city. After approximately 2.5 hours of driving, you should arrive in Tbilisi. From Tbilisi, head towards the Algeti National Park located at 103 Avlabari St, Tbilisi 0103. The park is approximately a 1-hour drive south from Tbilisi. Parking is available at the park entrance. Ensure your vehicle is equipped for mountain driving, as some roads may be challenging.
Public Transportation

If you prefer to use public transportation, start your journey from Omalo by taking a marshrutka (shared minivan) to Tbilisi. These marshrutkas usually depart in the morning; hence, it's advisable to check the local schedule. The trip to Tbilisi can take around 5-6 hours. Upon reaching Tbilisi, you can take a taxi or public bus to Algeti National Park. The bus station in Tbilisi can direct you to local buses heading towards the park.
