Car
From the nearest major town, Stepantsminda, drive towards the village of Juta. The drive takes approximately 30 minutes along a winding mountain road. Upon reaching Juta, park your car in the designated area. From Juta, you will need to hike towards Chaukhi Pass, which is about a 3 to 4-hour hike (approximately 10 kilometers). Follow the marked trails that lead into the mountains, and be sure to carry a map or GPS as the trails can be less distinct.

Public Transportation
Take a marshrutka (minibus) from Tbilisi to Stepantsminda. This journey takes around 3 hours. From Stepantsminda, find a local taxi to take you to Juta, which should cost around 20 GEL (Georgian Lari). After reaching Juta, you'll need to hike to Chaukhi Pass, which is about 10 kilometers away and will take approximately 3 to 4 hours. Ensure you have appropriate hiking gear and a map.
