If you are traveling by car from any point in Tusheti, you will need to make your way to the main road leading out of the region. Depending on your starting location, follow the local roads to reach the village of Omalo. From Omalo, take the road south towards the town of Akhmeta. Once in Akhmeta, connect to the main highway (2M26) towards Kvareli. Continue on this highway for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the Gremi area. The Archangels' Complex is located just off the main road, and you can spot it easily by its distinctive architecture. Parking is available nearby but may incur a small fee.

To reach Gremi's Archangels' Complex using public transportation, start by taking a minibus (marshrutka) from Omalo to Akhmeta. The marshrutkas run frequently, but it is advisable to confirm the schedule ahead of time. The journey will take about an hour. Once you arrive in Akhmeta, transfer to another marshrutka heading towards Kvareli. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Gremi, as some drivers might not stop directly at the complex. The fare for the entire trip should be around 10-15 GEL. After getting off, it is a short walk to the complex itself.
