Public Transport

To reach Omalo using public transportation, take a marshrutka (minibus) from Tbilisi to Telavi. From Telavi, you will need to find a marshrutka or a shared taxi heading to the village of Alvani. Once in Alvani, you might need to arrange for a 4x4 vehicle to take you into Tusheti as regular vehicles cannot access the area.
