Car
From Vardzia, head southeast on the road towards Aspindza. Follow the signs for E60 and continue for about 10 kilometers. You will reach a junction; take the left turn towards Tmogvi. Continue driving for 5 more kilometers until you see a sign for Tsunda Church. It will be on your right. Parking is available nearby.
Public Transportation
Catch a marshrutka (minibus) from Vardzia to Aspindza, which typically runs every hour. The fare is around 1 GEL. Once in Aspindza, you will need to hire a taxi for the remaining 5 kilometers to Tsunda Church. The taxi fare should be approximately 10-15 GEL. Inform the driver to take you to C85M+3Q9, Tmogvi.
Walking
If you prefer to walk from Vardzia, it is about a 15-kilometer trek. Start by heading southeast on the road towards Aspindza, then follow the E60 route. It can take approximately 3 to 4 hours depending on your pace. Ensure to wear comfortable shoes and carry water, as this route may not have many facilities.
