Getting There

Car
If you're driving, start from the central area of Vardzia. Head northwest and take the road leading towards the Vardzia Monastery. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, you’ll reach a fork in the road. Take the left fork, which is marked towards Gogasheni. Continue for about 3 kilometers until you arrive at the viewpoint. You can park your car in the designated area near the viewpoint.

Public Transportation
To reach the View of Vardzia by public transport, you can take a local minibus (marshrutka) from the central bus station in Vardzia heading towards Gogasheni. The ride costs around 1 GEL and takes about 15 minutes. Once you arrive in Gogasheni, ask the driver to drop you off at '97HP+CX' which is the address for the viewpoint. From there, it’s a short walk to the viewpoint area.
