If you are in the center of Aachen, head towards the 'Markt' square. From the Aachen Cathedral, walk straight out of the cathedral's entrance, and you will see the 'Markt' square directly ahead. The City Hall Aachen is located at Markt, 52062 Aachen, just to the left of the cathedral. It's a short 2-minute walk. Look for the large, historic building with its distinctive architecture.

If you are further away from the city center, take tram line 3 or 5 towards 'Aachen Bushof' and get off at the 'Markt' stop. Once you disembark, walk towards the large square in front of you. The City Hall Aachen is located directly at the Markt, just to your left when you face the square. This journey will take approximately 10-15 minutes from the tram stop.
