If you are starting from Aachen Hauptbahnhof (the main train station), exit the station and head towards the bus stop located right outside. Take Bus 1, 11, or 21 towards 'Krefeld' or 'Pavillon' and get off at the 'Elisenbrunnen' stop. From the bus stop, walk directly towards Friedrich-Wilhelm-Platz, where Elisenbrunnen is located, just a short 2-minute walk ahead.
Walking
From Aachen's city center (Markt), head north on the 'Adalbertstraße' street. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with 'Friedrich-Wilhelm-Platz'. Turn right, and you will see Elisenbrunnen on your left after a short walk. The total walking distance is approximately 1 kilometer and should take about 10-15 minutes.
Public Transportation
If you are near the Aachen Cathedral, a well-known landmark, you can take tram line 3 from 'Ponttor' towards 'Altenberg'. Get off at the next stop, 'Elisenbrunnen'. From there, it’s just a short walk to the fountain.
