If you are in the city center of Aachen, start at the Aachen Cathedral (Aachener Dom), a UNESCO World Heritage site. Exit the cathedral and head south onto the Markt square. From the Markt, walk towards the east until you reach the intersection with Hühnermarkt street. Turn left onto Hühnermarkt, and continue walking for about 150 meters. The Couven-Museum will be on your right at Hühnermarkt 17.
Public Transport
If you are further away, take a bus towards the city center. Look for buses that stop at 'Markt' or 'Aachen Hauptbahnhof'. Alight at the 'Markt' stop. From there, walk south towards the Aachen Cathedral. After visiting the cathedral, follow the previous walking directions from the cathedral to the Couven-Museum. This route is approximately 10-15 minutes on foot.
Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, you can cycle from anywhere in Aachen. Make your way to the city center and head towards the Aachen Cathedral. Once at the cathedral, park your bicycle in a designated area. Then, walk along the same route as mentioned earlier, heading south to the Markt, turning left onto Hühnermarkt, and continuing to the museum.
