If you are in the city center of Aachen, start at the Aachen Cathedral (Aachener Dom), a UNESCO World Heritage site. Exit the cathedral and head south onto the Markt square. From the Markt, walk towards the east until you reach the intersection with Hühnermarkt street. Turn left onto Hühnermarkt, and continue walking for about 150 meters. The Couven-Museum will be on your right at Hühnermarkt 17.

From there, walk south towards the Aachen Cathedral. After visiting the cathedral, follow the previous walking directions from the cathedral to the Couven-Museum. This route is approximately 10-15 minutes on foot.
