Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from Aachen's main train station (Aachen Hauptbahnhof), exit the station and walk towards the main road (Bismarckstraße). Turn right onto Bismarckstraße and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Friedrich-Wilhelm-Platz. At the plaza, turn left onto Wilhelmstraße and continue walking straight. After approximately 600 meters, you will reach Marschiertor at Franzstraße 995. The landmark will be on your left.

  • Bus

    From Aachen's main train station (Aachen Hauptbahnhof), take bus line 5 or 15 in the direction of 'Burtscheid' or 'Kornelimünster'. Get off at the stop 'Marschiertor', which is just a few stops away. After exiting the bus, you will see Marschiertor right in front of you.

  • Walking from the City Center

    If you are in the city center, head towards the Aachen Cathedral (Aachener Dom). From the Cathedral, walk west on Abteistraße until you reach the intersection with Franzstraße. Turn right onto Franzstraße and continue walking straight for about 500 meters. Marschiertor will be on your right side.
