From Aachen city center (Markt square), walk to the Aachen Hauptbahnhof (main train station). You can reach the station by taking the pedestrian path from Markt Square towards Pontstraße, which leads directly to the station. At the Hauptbahnhof, take the bus number 1 towards 'Kornelimünster'. The bus ride will take approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the 'Breiniger Str./Kornelimünster' stop. From there, it is a short 5-minute walk to Vanenum. Head northeast on Breiniger Str., and you will find Vanenum at Breiniger Str. 30.

If you prefer walking, you can start at Aachen Cathedral. From the Cathedral, head southeast on Königstraße towards Jülicher Straße. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Breiniger Str. Turn right onto Breiniger Str., and walk approximately 3 km. This will take about 35-45 minutes. Vanenum will be on your left at Breiniger Str. 30.

For a more active approach, rent a bicycle from one of the many bike rental stations in Aachen. Start from the city center and head towards the bike path that leads to Breiniger Str. Follow the bike lanes which will take you through a scenic route towards Kornelimünster. The ride will take around 15-20 minutes. Once you reach Breiniger Str., continue until you see Vanenum at Breiniger Str. 30.
