Car
If driving, start from Füssen and head northeast on B310. Take the exit toward B12/Eisenberg, continue on B12, and then take the Eisenberg exit. Follow signs to Hohenfreyberg Castle. Parking is available below the ruins or at the castle museum. Parking fees are approximately €12 for up to 6 hours.
Public Transport
To reach Hohenfreyberg Castle via public transport, take a train to Füssen. From Füssen, take bus line 73 towards Eisenberg and get off at 'Eisenberg, Schloss Hohenfreyberg'. The castle is a 10-minute walk from the bus stop. Bus tickets cost around €3-5.
Walking
From Zell, the ruins can be reached in about 45 minutes on foot. Follow the signs from the town center. The path is uphill and requires comfortable shoes.
