Walking
From the Regen train station, walk towards the town center and follow signs for the Kurpark. Continue along the Skulpturenweg, crossing the Regen River via the Rodenstocksteg. Follow the Flusswanderweg (River Hiking Trail) to the Regener See. Cross the Heubrücke (Hay Bridge) and the B11 road. Follow Wanderweg Nr. 5 to Weißenstein, where the Gläserner Wald is located near the castle. The walk takes approximately 2 hours.

From Regen, take bus line 6192 towards Zwiesel to the Weißenstein, Regen stop. The Gläserner Wald is a short walk from the bus stop. Check the Bayerischer Wald website for current schedules and fare information. A single journey ticket costs approximately €3-€5.

From the A3, take the Deggendorf exit towards Bodenmais. Continue to Patersdorf and turn right towards Regen. Follow the signs to Weißenstein. Parking is available near the Gläserner Wald. Parking fees are approximately €5 per day.
