Once you are near the city, follow the signs for 'Zentrum' or 'City Center'. Exit onto Widenmayerstraße and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Thomas-Wimmer-Ring, then turn right. Continue onto Prinzregentenstraße until you see the signs for the Deutsches Museum. There is parking available near the museum, but be aware that it may incur a fee (approximately €1.50 per hour).
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, first find your way to the nearest train station. Use the regional train (S-Bahn) services to get to Munich. The most convenient line is the S8 or S2, which will take you to 'Isartor' station. From 'Isartor', walk towards the 'Deutsches Museum', which is approximately a 15-minute walk. You will cross the Isar River via the Isartor Bridge. Alternatively, you can take tram line 17 from 'Isartor' towards 'Am Gasteig' and get off at the 'Deutsches Museum' stop. Ensure to have a valid ticket for your journey (a single ticket costs around €2.90).
