Car
If you are driving from Munich, take the A95 towards Garmisch-Partenkirchen. At the junction, merge onto the A12 towards Innsbruck. Continue on the A12 and take the exit for B17 towards Füssen/Schwangau. Follow the B17 until you reach Schwangau. Look for signs indicating the Panoramic View; there is a parking area nearby. Note that parking may incur a fee, typically around 5-10 EUR for the day.
Public Transportation
From Munich, take an IC train to Füssen, which takes about 2 hours. Once you arrive at Füssen station, exit and look for the bus stop for bus line 73 or 78. Take the bus towards Schwangau and disembark at the 'Schwangau, Hohenschwangau' stop. From there, follow the signs or a short walking path to the Panoramic View, which is approximately a 20-minute walk uphill. The bus fare is around 6 EUR one way.
Walking
If you are already in Schwangau, you can walk to the Panoramic View from the village center. Head towards Hohenschwangau Castle, and follow the paths leading uphill. The walk will take approximately 30-40 minutes, depending on your pace. Wear comfortable shoes as the terrain can be steep and uneven. There is no cost for walking, but be sure to bring water and enjoy the scenery along the way.
