Car
If you are traveling by car from anywhere in Anhalt, take the A14 motorway towards Magdeburg. Merge onto the A2 towards Hannover and then take the exit for the B6 towards Wernigerode. Follow the B6, which will lead you directly into Wernigerode. Once you reach the town, follow the signs for 'Schloss Wernigerode' as you approach the castle. There is parking available near the castle, but be aware that there may be a small fee for parking.
