Walking
From the Hohenschwangau village center, follow the signs towards the Alpsee lake and Alpseebad. The walk is approximately 10 minutes from the Alpsee parking lot P4. The path is well-maintained and offers scenic views of the surrounding area. Be aware that the path has a slight decline.
Public Transport
Take a train to Füssen station. From Füssen, take bus number 73 or 78 towards Hohenschwangau. Get off at the 'Hohenschwangau' stop. From there, it's a short walk to Neuschwansteinstraße, where you will find Alpseebad Hohenschwangau. Follow the signs leading to the swimming area. Bus fare is approximately €2.50, but children under six and passengers with a guest card travel free.
Parking
If driving, follow signs for Hohenschwangau and the Neuschwanstein Castle. Park in one of the designated parking areas (P1-P4). From the parking lot P4, it is a 10-minute walk to Alpseebad. Parking fees are €12 for up to 6 hours, with each additional hour costing €1, up to a maximum of €16 per day.
