    The Nationalparkzentrum Falkenstein is easily accessible by public transport. From the IC-Bahnhof Plattling, take the Waldbahn to Zwiesel, where you can connect to other Waldbahn lines from Bodenmais, Bayerisch Eisenstein and Grafenau. Continue towards Bayerisch Eisenstein and get off at the Ludwigsthal stop, which is a short walk from the Haus zur Wildnis. The Falkenstein buses from Zwiesel, Buchenau, and Zwieslerwaldhaus, as well as the RBO buses (Arberlinie), also stop at the central parking lot in Ludwigsthal. A single fare on the Waldbahn from Zwiesel to Ludwigsthal costs approximately €3-5.
