Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in the heart of Kreuzberg, start by heading towards the U-Bahn station at Görlitzer Bahnhof (U1 line). From there, take the U1 train in the direction of the station at Uhlandstraße. After about 4 stops, disembark at the station at Wittenbergplatz. Once you exit the station, navigate to the intersection of Wittenbergplatz and Potsdamer Straße. Continue along Potsdamer Straße until you reach the intersection with Schöneberger Straße. The Kohl Bush Gorbachev Monument will be on your right at the corner of Schöneberger Straße and Potsdamer Straße.

• Public Transport

  If you prefer to use public transport, you can take Bus 104 from the stop at Oranienstraße/Kreuzbergstraße. Board the bus heading towards Zoologischer Garten. After approximately 10-15 minutes, get off at the stop called Schöneberger Straße. From there, walk straight for about 5 minutes, and you will find the Kohl Bush Gorbachev Monument located at the intersection of Schöneberger Straße and Potsdamer Straße. Note that a single journey ticket costs around €3.00 and can be purchased at ticket machines found at bus stops.

• Cycling

  For those who enjoy cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the many bike-sharing services available in Kreuzberg. Start from the area around Görlitzer Park, heading north towards Landwehrkanal. Follow the canal's pathway until you reach the intersection with Potsdamer Straße. Turn right onto Potsdamer Straße and continue straight for about 1 km. The Kohl Bush Gorbachev Monument will be on your left near the intersection with Schöneberger Straße. Remember to follow the cycling lanes and traffic rules. Depending on the bike rental service, rental costs may vary but generally start from around €1.00 per half hour.
