U-Bahn
If you're starting from the central area, take the U-Bahn (subway) line U55 from Berlin Hauptbahnhof (Central Station) towards the 'Brandenburger Tor' station. Once you arrive at 'Brandenburger Tor', exit the station. The Sandkrugbrücke is a short 10-minute walk from there. Head east towards the Brandenburger Tor, then turn left onto the Ebertstraße. Walk straight until you reach the Spree River, then turn right. Continue walking along the riverbank until you see the Sandkrugbrücke.
Bus
From Alexanderplatz, take bus line 200 towards 'Zoologischer Garten'. Get off at the 'Hauptbahnhof' (Central Station) stop. From there, you can walk to Sandkrugbrücke. Exit the bus and head towards the river. Walk along the riverbank, heading east, until you reach the Sandkrugbrücke, which is just a few minutes away.
Tram
If you are near the East Side Gallery, take the tram line M10 towards 'Warsawstraße'. Transfer at 'Schwartzkopffstraße' and change to tram line M5 towards 'Hauptbahnhof'. Get off at 'Hauptbahnhof', and from there, walk towards the Spree River. Follow the riverbank east until you find the Sandkrugbrücke, which is about a 10-minute walk.
Walking
If you find yourself in the Mitte district, you can simply walk to Sandkrugbrücke. Start at the Berlin Central Station (Hauptbahnhof) and head towards the Spree River. Turn right and follow the riverbank eastwards. The Sandkrugbrücke is a beautiful bridge over the river and is easily accessible on foot.
