Getting There

  • Public Transport

    Start your journey at Bonn Hauptbahnhof (Main Station). From here, take the S-Bahn line S12 towards Au (Sieg). Get off at the station 'Bad Honnef' after about 20 minutes. From Bad Honnef station, walk to the bus stop 'Bad Honnef, Bahnhof' and catch bus line 550 towards 'Sankt Augustin, Rathaus.' This bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at 'Sankt Augustin, Rathaus' and transfer to bus line 570 towards 'Hennef (Sieg), Bahnhof.' After about 15 minutes, get off at 'Hennef (Sieg), Bahnhof.' Walk to the nearby train station and take the RB train towards 'Siegen.' Disembark at 'Suhl' station, which takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes. From Suhl station, you can walk to Großer Beerberg, which is about 3 kilometers away. Follow the road signs or use a navigation app to guide you to the peak.
