If you're traveling by car, input the address 'Hauptstraße 55, 99894 Friedrichroda' into your GPS. Depending on your starting point in Thuringia, take the A4 autobahn and exit at 'Waltershausen'. From the exit, follow the B88 towards Friedrichroda. Once you arrive in Friedrichroda, follow the Hauptstraße until you reach the Geopark, which is located on your left. There is parking available nearby, but be aware there may be a small fee for parking.

To reach the Unesco Geopark Thueringen via public transportation, take a regional train to the 'Friedrichroda' station. You can catch trains from larger cities such as Erfurt or Jena. After arriving at the Friedrichroda station, exit and take bus number 200 towards 'Friedrichroda Stadtmitte'. Get off at the 'Hauptstraße' stop, which is just a short walk from the Geopark. Ensure to check the bus schedule in advance, as services may vary on weekends and holidays.

If you’re in nearby towns, follow the designated cycling paths signposted towards Friedrichroda. Once you reach the town, navigate to Hauptstraße 55.
