If you are starting from Erfurt's main train station (Erfurt Hauptbahnhof), exit the station and head towards the tram station located just outside. Take tram line 1 towards 'Bischleben' and get off at the 'Anger' stop. From there, walk towards the Anger shopping mall, then continue straight to the 'Krämerbrücke' (Merchant Bridge). Cross the bridge and head straight until you reach 'Petrinistraße'. Turn left onto Petrinistraße and follow the street until you see the Festungsmauer Zitadelle Petersberg on your right.
