Train
From Bonn, take the S-Bahn (S12, S13, or S19) from Bonn Hauptbahnhof (main train station) to Köln Hauptbahnhof (Cologne Central Station). The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Köln Hauptbahnhof, exit the station and head towards the main exit.
Walking
After exiting Köln Hauptbahnhof, walk straight towards the Domplatte where you can see the Cologne Cathedral. From the cathedral, head towards the south on Unter Fettenhennen street, then turn left onto Breite Straße. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Minoritenstraße. Turn right onto Minoritenstraße, and the Kölnisches Stadtmuseum will be on your left at Minoritenstraße 13.
Tram
Alternatively, from Köln Hauptbahnhof, you can take tram line 1 or 7 towards Bocklemünd or Sülzburgstraße, respectively. Get off at the stop 'Heumarkt'. From Heumarkt, walk northwest on Heumarkt towards the intersection with Minoritenstraße. Turn left onto Minoritenstraße, and the Kölnisches Stadtmuseum will be on your right.
