If you prefer biking, you can rent a bicycle in Bonn. Start from the city center and head towards the south along the Rhine River. Follow the cycling paths along the river until you reach the junction with the road leading towards Düsseldorf. Continue on the cycling paths to Benrather Schloßallee. The ride will take approximately 50 minutes to an hour.

For the adventurous, you can walk from Bonn to Schloss Benrath, although it is a long journey (approximately 12 km). Start from Bonn city center and head south towards the Rhine River. Follow the riverbank until you reach the bridge to cross into Düsseldorf. Once across, follow the signposts towards Benrath. This will take about 2.5 to 3 hours, so be prepared for a long walk!
