Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, head to the city center of Brandenburg an der Havel. Use your GPS and enter the address: im Paulikloster, Neustädtische Heidestraße 28, 14776 Brandenburg an der Havel. Parking is available nearby, but be aware that some parking may require a fee. Look for signs indicating parking zones and fees.

• Train

  For those using public transportation, take a train to Brandenburg an der Havel. From Berlin, you can catch a regional train (RE or RB) from Berlin Hauptbahnhof (Berlin Central Station) towards Brandenburg an der Havel. The journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Brandenburg an der Havel station, exit the station and take bus number 561 towards 'Brandenburg, Neustädtische Heidestraße.' Get off at the 'Neustädtische Heidestraße' stop, which is a short walk from the museum.

• Bus

  If you are already in the city and prefer to take the bus, check the local bus schedules for routes that pass through the city center. You can take bus line 561 or 563 to 'Neustädtische Heidestraße' and walk to the museum. Be sure to purchase a valid ticket before boarding the bus; tickets can usually be bought at vending machines at bus stops or on the bus itself.

• Walking

  If you are staying nearby, you may also choose to walk to the Brandenburg State Archaeology Museum. From the city center, head towards Neustädtische Heidestraße. The museum is located at im Paulikloster, which is approximately a 15-20 minute walk from the main square in Brandenburg.
